The story behind the Lange & Söhne watches
There is a long history behind this well-known watch manufacturer. As early as 1845, the watch manufacturer was founded by Ferdinand Adolph Lange under the name A. Lange & Cien. In addition to pocket watches, the company also brought high-quality and functional wristwatches onto the market. After the company was nationalised in 1945, the owners fled to Weste and founded the watch manufactory A. Lange Pforzheim. In 1990, the company was finally re-established under the name Lange Uhren GmbH. The rights to the A. Lange & Söhne brand belong to the company, which was able to successfully re-establish itself on the watch market after the new beginning.
The Saxonia Thin Collection
With its name, the Saxonia watch family recalls the origins of the Saxon watch manufacturer Lange & Söhne. The Saxonia Thin is the manufacturer's thinnest watch and is available in different versions. The classic round case can be purchased in white gold or a shimmering red gold. The hands and the extended indices correspond to the material of the case. The dial is made of simple but elegant Argenté. Alternatively, it can be covered in copper blue with a slip of gold flow. The elegant leather strap completes the simple but stylish design of the Saxonia Thin and makes it a reliable piece of jewellery on every wrist.
