"The whole endeavor of a watchmaker should be directed toward the perfection of each and every watch." A. Lange & Söhne has been working to this order since 1845. This enthusiasm for perfect timepieces is evident without question when looking at the model A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk.
There are two different timepiece versions in the Zeitwerk family: One in white gold with black dial and one in red gold with Argenté dial. The dials are made of silver (solid) and the cases are made of 18k white gold. The time bridge of the first version is made of rhodinated nickel silver, the hands are made of rhodinated gold. The time bridge of the second variation is made of natural nickel silver, the hands of red gold.
The Zeitwerk models have many traditional features: Blued hands (the hands are dyed blue by controlled oxidation), Arabic numerals and the minute wreath (the minute wreath) in the style of the railroad "Chemin de fer". Both models of the watch family are equipped with the mechanical manufacture caliber L043.1 and have a manual winding mechanism and a power reserve indicator. The power reserve is 36 hours. All models are splash-proof.
