Alpina Alpiner - a chronograph for ambitious outdoor athletes

Alpina's luxury watches from the 'Alpiner 4' series are specifically distinguished by the basic '4' features for sports watches that transform simple watches into a sports watch: 1. shock resistance, 2. insensitivity to magnetic fields, 3. stainless steel and 4. water resistance. The intention of the founder of Alpina manufacture was that the sporty chronographs would withstand all kinds of sports - from alpine sea diving to mountain climbing. The Alpina Alpiner watch model meets all the criteria for insensitivity to magnetic fields set out in ISO standard 764, which requires an Alpina Alpiner timepiece to withstand magnetic fields of 4,800 A/m (amperes per meter/magnetic resistance - 60 gauss) without any loss of accuracy. When it comes to shock resistance, Alpina's luxury watches meet all the requirements of ISO standard 1413, complete with certificate. As a further support for outdoor activities in the alpine environment, the Alpina Alpiner watch model has a compass bezel that can be rotated 360 degrees. The latter is complemented by a 24-hour scale, which you can find on the outer ring of the dial. With these two functions, you have the possibility to use the compass quite easily and quickly. Overall, the Alpina Alpiner offers you functions for alpine sports activities that are currently hard to find on the market.

A history of unique functionality and elegance

Alpina is a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches located in Geneva, which is still owned by the founding family today. The history of Alpina luxury watches now looks back on 130 years. It can even be said that Alpina has pioneered and brought quite a few innovations to the watch market since its inception. The Geneva-based watch manufacturer is, so to speak, the inventor of the sports watches we know today. Alpina's luxury watches are known for the fact that their innovative calibers are manufactured directly in Geneva. Four clockworks in particular play an important role: the Worldtimer AL-718, the Small Date Automatic AL-710, the Tourbillon AL-980 and the Automatic Regulator AL-950 clockwork. The founders quickly made the decision to design and manufacture high-quality as well as luxurious timepieces that support outdoor athletes even in extreme situations through excellent precision and reliability. Alpina's rugged Alpiner model is also designed to always perform accurately and through ease of use in changing weather conditions and altitudes.
