A perfect outdoor wristwatch
The noble wristwatch has a diameter of 44 mm. Inside the watch is a caliber AL-247. A great advantage is that the watch can be worn to a depth of 300 meters. Thus the Seastrong wristwatch is a skilful travel clock or ideal outdoor clock. The Swiss watch captivates with its blue dial and a sturdy steel-coated case. The bracelet is closed with a buckle. While the watch strap is made of classic rubber, the dial is protected by a robust sapphire crystal.
The manufacturer Alpina
The Alpina watch brand was discovered in 2002 by its founder Frédérique Constant. He bought the brand after it had been forgotten. Alpina watches have been around for over 130 years. The watchmaker Gottlieb Hauser founded the Corporation d´Horlogers Suisse in 1883. It was a cooperative of watchmakers, dealers and manufacturers. Together, they purchased the components of modern watches and organized their manufacture. Only years later were their own watches and calibers used. The name Alpina was registered as a watch brand in 1901.
In the 1920s, Alpina wristwatches were offered in over 2,000 shops worldwide. In 1926, the company introduced an international guarantee for the models. The Alpina brand was able to integrate firmly into the watch market. One of the best-known models was the Alpina 4, which was launched in 1938. Today it is still an important part of the collection.
