Phases de Lune

Although the collection name Villeret is English, the native language of the Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune is French, as is clearly more befitting of a true Swiss watch. Phases de Lune, phases of the moon, or in nicer English, moon phases, is its individual proper name. Accordingly, the lower half of the dial features an attractively designed moon phase indicator. Matching the other markers of the Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune, the face of the moon is in white. However, the background is not black like space, but dark blue, which makes it easier to distinguish the display from the rest of the dial.

Four hands

Two thick and two thin hands are mounted in the center of the Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune. The thick ones are, of course, the hour and minute hands, which can be easily distinguished by their different lengths. The longer thin hand with the bright dot and red tip is the seconds hand. The fourth hand doesn't have a bright mark and instead of a tip, it has a red arc at the end. It is a date hand that indicates the day of the month on the inner number ring of the watch. In combination with the day of the week indicator and the month indicator on the upper half of the Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune, it provides a complete calendar for your wrist.
