The dial: different versions, but still uniform
For the Girard Perregaux Laureato 42mm dial, you can choose between the colours silver, blue or slate grey/black. Regardless of your choice of colour, all the dials in this line are decorated with the "Clous de Paris" pattern described as pyramid or waffle. In addition, all models in this line have a date display in addition to hour, minute and second hands.
The dial is framed by the Girard Perregaux signature rectangular bezel, which is connected to the bracelet by another circular element. This extravagant design not only ensures a high recognition value among connoisseurs. The unique combination of curves and corners refracts and reflects incident light in a way that is not only beautiful, but also seeks to match. This effect is just one more advantage of the Girard Perregaux Laureato 42mm and exists regardless of whether the case is chosen in the stainless steel or titanium version with rose gold.
Renaissance of a classic
In 1975 Girard Perregaux launched the "Laureato" for the first time. Thanks to its great success, this model became the symbol of the watchmaker. In the following decades (1984, 1995 and 2005), the "Laureato" was redesigned three times. On the occasion of its 225th birthday in 2016, the "Laureato" not only received its fourth facelift, but also received a completely new technical equipment.
