Great precision technology for the wrist
At Glashütte Original Specialist, despite the exclusive appearance, it is the inner values and their functionality that matter: Equipped with the new Glashütte Original Manufacture movement Caliber 36-13 or Caliber 39-11 (depending on the model selected), the diving watch is ISO and DIN tested, water-resistant up to 30 bar, shock-resistant and, of course, saltwater-resistant. The hands and scales in the dial are coated with luminous material so that the watch is easy to read even when used under water in the dark. The bezel, which can be turned in both directions, is provided with minute graduations for quick and reliable setting of the diving time. This watch is much more than just the design. It is made for real divers.
Where manufacture is lived
Anyone who believes that the true art of watchmaking is only to be found in Switzerland is far from it. In the small town of Glashütte near Dresden in Saxony, a good 800 kilometres away from Switzerland, watches of the highest quality are produced in the manufacture of the same name. The high-quality watches are designed and built almost entirely (approx. 95%) in the in-house workshop. The expression "Made in Germany" is a worldwide symbol for outstanding technology and highest quality. A Glashütte Original not only rightly bears this seal of quality; one might even think that it was only through the watches of the Glashütte manufactory that the seal became what it stands for today.
