The history behind Hublot
The history of Hublot can be traced back to the year 1980 and the watch designer Carlo Crocco. He invented the fusion concept at the very beginning of his success. This means that natural rubber and gold were used for his cases and bracelets. In 2004, Jean-Claude Biver joined the company, switching from the Omega brand, also well known. He took on the position of managing director and was soon to lead Hublot to greater success. This was also due to the "Big Bang" watch, which he presented in 2005. It is still one of the brand's most awarded watches today. In 2008 Crocco sold his shares to LMVH. Nevertheless, this should not stop the success story of Hublot. Today, the brand is one of the best-known Swiss luxury watch manufacturers.
