The Ulysse Nardin watch manufactory
Ulysse Nardin trained with the leading Swiss watchmakers in 1846 and then worked independently on marine chronometers, creating the Ulysse Nardin watch brand and his company. However, when he died at the age of 53 in 1876, the company was inherited by his son, who continued to run it successfully. Even today it is still passed on and successfully managed. The latest models from Ulysse Nardin, for example, the Freak X, which has been extended by 1mm, has a crown for time correction that breaks with one of the most iconic aspects of the crownless Freak Vision or Freak Out models, where time is corrected by the bezel. Another new model called Skeleton X is also very popular, as it is still 42mm long and pleases the eye with an X formed by four of the indices, framed in a rectangle, which in turn lies in a circle.
