Oris Divers Sixty Five

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five is a new edition of the first watch model from Oris in 1965. At the time, it marked the company's start in the watch world and helped it to gain great popularity and prestige; today, the new interpretation not only delights connoisseurs and fans of the brand, but also attracts new customers. Designed for divers, the dial has luminous hands and a rotating bezel. Its elegant appearance makes the Oris Divers Sixty-Five popular with non-divers as well. Everything about this watch has really been thought through with great care.

Up to 100 meters waterproof, but no reason to bury this watch so deep

The design of the dial, which is typical for the Oris Divers Sixty-Five model, is striking. The divisions of the hours at hours 3, 6, 9 and 12 (one could also say at the four cardinal points) are visually different from the other hour sections. Depending on the variant chosen, either dots and then dashes at the four hours mentioned are used, or else dashes and Arabic numerals are used at these hours. The strap design can be chosen between leather and stainless steel, depending on preference. As with the other Oris models, the movement is purely mechanical. The red rotor, a distinctive symbol of the company, is of course not missing.

The beginning of the company reinterpreted

Anyone who makes watches for divers also wants them to be able to dive with them. At Oris, this desire extends beyond the functionality of the watches: the Swiss company also actively supports the saving of the world's oceans. Oris's social commitment is also no secret. It is a proud part of the company's history that a diving watch was designed for the first partial amputee (and African-American at that) to become a certified master diver with the US Navy.
