The Startimer Pilot Manufacture represents Alpina's commitment to independent thinking – and implementation – of mechanical watchmaking. Inspired by historic pilot's watches, it impresses with its clear, functional design and technical originality. Instead of purchasing standard movements, Alpina relies on its own calibers, which are entirely developed and assembled in-house at the Geneva-based manufacture. The result: a pilot's watch with a strong identity, Swiss Made quality, and its own character.

Model variety & technical highlights

The Startimer Pilot Manufacture is available in various versions – from the purist three-hand model to regulator dials to more complex versions with a flyback chronograph. Depending on the model, in-house calibers such as the AL-710 with a decentralized second hand and date display, the AL-950 Regulator, or the flyback caliber AL-760 are used.

The cases measure approximately 41.5 mm in diameter and are made of stainless steel or with a rose gold coating. Typical of the model line is the balanced dial layout with large Arabic numerals, luminous hands, and a clearly structured design. Many models feature a display case back that provides a view of the decorated movement.
