Chronomat design with expanded focus

Since its introduction in the 1980s, the Chronomat has established itself as a sporty, technical classic in the Breitling portfolio. With the 44 GMT, the line receives a functional extension that particularly benefits frequent travelers. The visual features remain clearly recognizable: the fluted bezel with rider tabs, the robust case, and the distinctive rouleaux bracelet.

Typical features of the GMT version include the 24-hour scale on the bezel and the additional, color-contrasting hand for indicating a second time zone. Despite the additional functionality, the dial remains clearly structured and easy to read—a real plus for use on the go.

Technology with global reach

The Chronomat 44 GMT houses the in-house caliber B04. It's based on the renowned B01, enhanced with an integrated GMT function. The watch allows for quick switching between time zones via the crown – without affecting the timekeeping. A feature that's particularly useful when traveling or in everyday international life.

The movement offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, is COSC-certified, and features a column-wheel chronograph mechanism. The case, crown, and pushers are screwed down, and it's water-resistant to 200 meters—ideal for demanding conditions.

Variants that are impressive

The Chronomat 44 GMT is available in a variety of versions, from sporty stainless steel models with black or blue dials to bicolor versions with rose gold accents. Panda dials and rouleaux bracelets in stainless steel or rubber provide further stylistic variety. Each version remains clearly a Chronomat—just with a few more features.
