Design, materials and functions of the Ebel Discovery

The case and strap of the chronograph are made of high-quality, silver-colored stainless steel. The strap is fitted with a sturdy folding clasp. The Ebel Discovery chronograph is available with either a rubber or leather strap. These straps can be attached even more securely to the wrist and are more comfortable to wear during sporting activities. A special feature of this watch is the black tachymeter scale on the bezel. It enables precise time measurements. With this chronograph, the wearer has a reliable watch that corresponds to innovative technologies and can be worn on any occasion. The watch is powered by a mechanical automatic chronograph movement, caliber ETA 7750 and has a power reserve of 44 hours. The case has a diameter of 43 millimeters with an alternating polished and satin finish and is equipped with a screwed pusher/crown, a bezel, a sapphire glass bottom and anti-reflective sapphire glass on both sides. The Ebel Discovery model is water-resistant to 10 atm. In addition to the tachymeter scale, the chronograph offers the functions of quick-set date and chrono seconds. The dial is equipped with 12 applied, hand-galvanized hour hands with Superluminova luminous coating, counters and indices that display the date, day of the week, second, minute and hour.
