Clear function with military origins

The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark is based on a historical model: the legendary Mark 11, which was manufactured for British military pilots starting in 1948. Its aim was to function precisely and reliably under all conditions – a task it continues to fulfill to this day.

The modern interpretation of this pilot's watch remains true to its original DNA: high contrasts on the dial, striking hand shapes, and the unmistakable triangle at 12 o'clock. The watch deliberately dispenses with superfluous elements and impresses with clarity, robustness, and practicality.

Technical profile & model variants

The Mark series includes various models – including the proven Mark XVIII and its modernized successor, the Mark XX. Both offer a timeless case design with a diameter of approximately 40 mm and a water resistance of 6 bar.

Inside, newer versions are the IWC-manufactured caliber 32111, with an impressive power reserve of up to 120 hours. The screw-down crown, the anti-magnetic soft-iron inner case, and the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal ensure everyday practicality and durability. Depending on the model, stainless steel cases are available with a leather or stainless steel bracelet; some editions also offer color-accented dials such as midnight blue or olive green.

A classic for modern wrists

The Mark Pilot's Watch is a watch for people who appreciate functional design and technical understatement. It wears pleasantly unobtrusively, yet retains a strong character – and embodies the ideal of a true tool watch.

With its clear design language and proven mechanics, it is not only a piece of watch history, but also a reliable companion in the here and now.
