An Omega success model
The Swiss watch manufacturer Omega is characterized by the production of high-quality watches in the higher price segment. The company was founded in 1848 and employed around 2,000 people in 2014. Today Omega is part of the Swatch Group. Omega's most successful models are the Seamaster, Speedmaster, De Ville and Constellation. The high-quality Seamaster Aqua Terra wristwatch is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Caliber 8800. This is certified by the Federal Institute of Meteorology (METAS) and meets the highest standards in the industry. The movement is equipped with a co-axial escapement and automatic winding and is insensitive to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. This means that an additional soft iron inner cage is no longer necessary. This meant that the case back could be made transparent so that the movement is visible. The free balance spring is made of silicon with automatic winding on both sides. The chronometer's power reserve is 55 hours. The watch glass is made of scratch-resistant, domed, anti-reflective sapphire glass on both sides. The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 M Co-Axial Master Chronometer is water-resistant to a depth of 150 meters/500 feet. This corresponds to a water pressure of 15 bar. The watch is available in various models. The colors of the dial, the case and the strap are available in different colors. The indices on the dial are also available in two versions.
