Clearly defined function, robust design

The design of the Oris Divers follows the classic diving watch principle: a strong case, high water resistance, and optimal legibility. The stainless steel cases usually measure 42 to 44 mm in diameter, are pressure-resistant, and feature screw-down crowns and solid case backs. The unidirectional rotating bezel – often with a ceramic inlay – allows for precise dive timekeeping and can be safely operated even while wearing gloves.

Dials in black, blue, or green with contrasting luminous indices and wide hands guarantee optimal visibility underwater and in the dark. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the displays. Many models also offer a date display or additional functions such as a small seconds hand, GMT, or even a depth gauge.

The straps – made of stainless steel, rubber, or textile – are designed for durability and comfort. Diving extensions and safety folding clasps are standard on many models.

Reliable mechanics for use under extreme conditions

Depending on the version, the Oris Divers models are powered by the proven Oris Calibre 733 (based on the SW200-1) or advanced movements such as the in-house Calibre 400. The latter offers a 120-hour power reserve, high magnetic field resistance, extended maintenance intervals and a 10-year warranty – a strong argument for mechanical technology in a segment often dominated by quartz.

The movement's architecture is designed for long-term use. The automatic winding mechanism works reliably, and the rotor—as is typical for Oris—is designed in a vibrant red and, in many models, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The rate is stable, and operation is precise and direct—even under demanding conditions.

Versatile options for sports and everyday life

The Divers series is versatile: from functional, purist models to special editions with a sustainability focus (e.g., made from recycled plastic or with ocean rescue projects). Popular series like the Divers Sixty-Five or Aquis expand the classic line with modern variants with an urban style.

Oris Divers are aimed at enthusiasts seeking a robust diving watch with a mechanical soul and credible provenance – without an overly elaborate design, but with a clear attitude.
