Monolithic design with aeronautical influence
The ProPilot X deliberately dispenses with traditional pilot's watch features like large numerals or vintage finishes. Instead, a minimalist, technical design dominates: The case is made entirely of titanium – lightweight, hypoallergenic, and yet extremely durable. With its satin finish and clean edges, the watch has an almost industrial feel, but never a cold one.
With a diameter of 39 mm (in the Calibre 400 version) or 44 mm (in earlier versions), it's compact enough for everyday and business wear, yet its angular profile maintains a prominent presence on the wrist. The bezel features a turbine-like structure, inspired by jet engine components. The titanium bracelet is seamlessly integrated and features a custom-developed folding clasp.
The dial is available in colors such as gray, blue, or rose gold—matte, anti-reflective, with a reduced index layout and open hands. The date display at 6 o'clock is discreetly integrated, and the sapphire crystal is domed and anti-reflective.
High-tech movement: Calibre 400 at the center
The ProPilot X is powered by the Oris Calibre 400, an automatic calibre developed entirely in-house. It offers a 120-hour power reserve (5 days), a silicon hairspring, increased magnetic field resistance, and is built for durability – with 10-year service intervals and a 10-year warranty.
The bidirectional rotor works efficiently; the movement is visible through a sapphire crystal case back and features a modern architecture with a high degree of finishing. The accuracy is well within chronometric tolerances; the movement runs quietly, precisely, and requires little maintenance—ideal for everyday wear as well as for discerning wearers.
A watch for design enthusiasts with technical demands
The ProPilot X is deliberately different—not a retro pilot's watch, but a counter-design with a futuristic touch. It is aimed at watch enthusiasts seeking modern materials, technological innovation, and independence in a consistently designed form.
With its titanium case, in-house caliber, and iconic design language, the Oris ProPilot X clearly stands out from classic pilot models – and offers real substance for anyone who wants to experience state-of-the-art mechanics.
