Integrated design with technical clarity
The monobloc case is milled from a single block of titanium – without any attached lugs or visible transitions. This creates an extraordinary design language: reduced, functional, and technical. The polished surfaces and clean lines give the watch a calm, powerful aura. The case typically measures 45 mm, but the lightweight titanium makes it comfortable to wear – even during sporting activities.
The watch's distinctive design features a clear dial with a large aperture and slightly recessed subdials – usually at 3 and 9 o'clock – complemented by a discreet date display. The dominant colors are black, gray, anthracite, or versions with carbon elements – inspired by motorsports. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides reliable protection without compromising the clean lines.
The titanium or rubber strap is ergonomically adapted to the case and follows the integrated design principle. A secure, flat folding clasp ensures a comfortable fit – even when moving.
Chronograph performance from a single source
Inside the monobloc chronographs, an automatic caliber—usually a refined ETA 7750 or equivalent—works with classic chronograph timing, a 48-hour power reserve, and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The complications are harmoniously integrated, including a stopwatch function, small seconds, and date. The movement is robust, precise, and designed for reliability.
In some versions, the pushers are not visible on the side of the case, but are integrated into the case as sliding elements – an innovation that brings technology and design even closer together. Some models are also available with an optional transparent case back, revealing the rotor with Porsche Design engraving.
For purists with a performance mindset
The Porsche Design Monobloc is aimed at wearers seeking technical design, integrated functionality, and uncompromising clarity. It's not a classic chronograph with a veneer of sportiness, but rather a constructive answer to the question: How much can you reduce without sacrificing performance?
Monobloc stands for flowing form, precise function and watchmaking independence – a modern companion with motorsport DNA and a clear character.
