The NOMOS Glashütte Ludwig is the manufacture’s most classic line. Roman numerals, slim blued hands and a light dial recall traditional Glashütte watchmaking, while the simple case retains the typical NOMOS clarity. The Ludwig is one of the first models with which NOMOS started out in the early nineties.

Classic style with Roman numerals

The Ludwig is aimed at anyone looking for a dress watch with historical echoes without giving up modern in-house technology. The dial with Roman numerals and small seconds looks calm and balanced, while the polished case stays slim and fits under any shirt cuff. Alongside classic white there are versions in champagne or with an enamel-white dial, depending on the reference with manual winding or an automatic movement.

Ludwig, Ludwig Automatic and Ludwig neomatik

The hand-wound Ludwig uses in-house calibres such as the DUW 4001 and is available in sizes from 33 to 38 millimetres. Depending on size, the Ludwig Automatic uses the automatic calibres DUW 3001 or DUW 5001, the Ludwig neomatik the particularly slim calibre DUW 3001. The Ludwig neomatik 41 Date offers a larger version with date display. The Ludwig Gold combines the classic dial with a yellow gold case.
