The NOMOS Glashütte Tangomat transfers the design of the Tangente to an automatic watch with a slightly more substantial case. Straight lugs, clear numerals and small seconds remain, while an in-house automatic movement ticks inside. With the Tangomat GMT there is also a version with a second time zone.

The Tangente with an automatic movement

The Tangomat is aimed at anyone who appreciates the design of the Tangente but does not want to wind it every day. The case measures around 38 millimetres and offers space for the rotor of the automatic movement. This changes nothing about the clear design, and the Tangomat remains an understated and versatile watch.

Tangomat and Tangomat GMT

The Tangomat uses the in-house calibre DUW 5001, and the Ruthenium version sets a modern accent with its dark dial. The Tangomat GMT uses calibre DUW 5201 and displays a second time zone that can be conveniently adjusted via a pusher on the case. This makes it a practical companion when travelling.
