The Navitimer since 1952
Breitling introduced the Navitimer in 1952 as an instrument for pilots of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. The slide rule on the bezel lets you calculate speeds, fuel consumption or rates of climb. The current generation from 2022 has a smoother case, a slimmer bezel ring and the AOPA logo at 12 o'clock.
In-house B01 calibre
Inside works the in-house B01 calibre with column wheel, vertical clutch and around 70 hours of power reserve, certified as a chronometer and visible through the sapphire caseback. The case is water-resistant to 30 metres, so the Navitimer is a watch for everyday life on land. You will find further sizes under Navitimer B01 46, Navitimer B01 43.
