Maurice Lacroix was founded in 1975 and makes its watches in Saignelégier in the Swiss Jura. The brand combines classic watchmaking with a clear, contemporary design – it is best known for the Aikon, whose bezel with six arms is one of the most distinctive features among sporty steel watches.

      The Maurice Lacroix lines at a glance

      The Aikon is the heart of the collection: sporty automatic watches with integrated bracelet, as three-hand models, chronographs, skeleton watches or in titanium and ceramic. The Aikon Venturer is the family’s dive watch with a unidirectional rotating bezel and 300 metres of water resistance. The Pontos stands for classic-sporty chronographs, day-date models and the Pontos S Diver dive watch. In the Masterpiece line Maurice Lacroix shows its most elaborate complications, and the 1975 recalls the year the brand was founded.

      The movements

      Most models run on automatic movements that Maurice Lacroix designates with its own ML calibre names, such as the ML115 in the Aikon Automatic or the ML112 in the chronographs, with 38 to 62 hours of power reserve. For the Masterpiece complications Maurice Lacroix uses its own complication modules, which are showcased visibly on the dial.
