The Mido lines at a glance
The Multifort dates back to 1934, when Mido introduced a watch that was water-resistant, shock-resistant and antimagnetic at the same time; today it includes sporty automatic watches, chronographs and the Multifort TV with its cushion-shaped case. The Ocean Star is Mido’s line of dive watches, with origins reaching back to the 1940s, from the Ocean Star 200 to the Ocean Star 600 Chronometer. The Commander was introduced in 1959 and stands for sporty yet elegant automatic watches with clean lines. The Baroncelli is the brand’s classic line with slim, elegant cases for women and men.
The movements
Many Mido automatic watches are powered by the Caliber 80, which runs for up to 80 hours when fully wound. In the chronometer versions it is fitted with a silicon balance spring that makes the movement less sensitive to magnetic fields, and it is certified by the official Swiss chronometer testing institute COSC. The brand’s chronographs use automatic movements with around 60 hours of power reserve.

We source new watches directly from the brand or from official authorised dealers; before shipping, they are inspected by our partner watchmaker and then dispatched fully insured.
