Ulysse Nardin Marine

Ulysse Nardin's luxury watches have been expanded by the watch manufacturer with additional models in the Marine Chronometer series. As its power train, the Marine uses the UN-118 caliber, which is manufactured entirely in-house. The Marine model from Ulysse Nardin has a heart made of DIAMonSIL and silicon - innovative materials that the luxury watches from Ulysse Nardin already included in the UN-118 caliber built in 2011. The clockwork succeeds today one of the most important steps in the direction of absolute precision in mechanical timekeeping. The clockwork of the Ulysse Nardin Marine combines the patented hairspring of the Ulysse Nardin manufacture with an innovative lever escapement, which is made of DIAMonSil and has an integrated oscillator. In particular, the automatic movement serves as a basis for lasting independence of the company as well as for future development. In addition, the caliber UN-118 is considered the pièce de résistance of the Swiss luxury watch manufacture, which provides an hour and minute display and small seconds, which has a direct drive.

The watch model Ulysse Nardin Marine - aesthetics in generous design

The design of the chronometer dials, as usual in the company Ulysse Nardin, is based on the first chronometers of the brand. The power reserve indicator is located at 12 o'clock, the small seconds at 6 o'clock, next to the date display. Filigree cathedral hands, generous Roman numerals and a stainless steel case with a grooved bezel clearly identify the Marine as a product of Ulysse Nardin's luxury watches. The Ulysse Nardin Marine chronometer thus impressively combines practical utility with technical sophistication. The Marine model from Ulysse Nardin can be operated with the help of the crown, which was specially designed for uncomplicated handling. The rubber notch alone allows users to wind the timepiece in a most comfortable manner. Aesthetically, both chronometers of Ulysse Nardin luxury watches with a diameter of 45 millimeters take different paths.

The Marine model from Ulysse Nardin - chronometer with COSC certificate

The Marine features a fascinatingly beautiful dial on both variants. The blue sunburst dial has cherry red accents and white hour markers. The contrast makes it easier to read while combining modern and classic looks. The other variant features a glossy lacquer dial in white. The blue hands and numerals combine to create a subtle nautical look. The Ulysse Nardin Marine watch model has a 60-hour power reserve from winding and is water resistant to 200 depth meters. The date of the Ulysse Nardin Marine can also be set forward/backward. The Marine also has the COSC certificate as well as the internal performance certificate of the Ulysse Nardin brand.
