The Swiss watch manufacturer Baume & Mercier was founded in 1830 under the name "Frères Baume" by the Baume brothers. Today the company is based in Bellevue GE and is one of the well-known international companies for watches and jewelry in the luxury segment. Baume & Mercier's wristwatches gained a reputation for their exceptional design as early as the 20th century. Collections for men and women are still very popular today. The Clifton Baumatic is based on the Baumatic watch that the watch manufacturer launched in 1962 and continues its tradition with a modern movement.

The mechanical movement of the Clifton Baumatic is manufactured in-house and has an automatic winding mechanism and increased running autonomy. The smooth, frictionless surfaces ensure durability with extended maintenance intervals. With a 40 mm case made of stainless steel and sapphire glass, the watch combines robustness with a sophisticated design. The dial is available in a white porcelain look, in black or with a blue gradient. The case and hands can be purchased in silver or gold-plated. The straps are made of alligator leather or stainless steel and have a stainless steel pin buckle.
