Is Hamilton an American or a Swiss brand?
Both, depending on your perspective. Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and supplied long watches for the railroad and military. Production is now in Switzerland, but American origins continue to shape the design of the lines.
What makes the Ventura special?
The Ventura appeared in 1957 as the first wristwatch with an electric drive and is still noticeable today thanks to its triangular case. She also became known through her appearances in the film, which has secured her a permanent place in design history.
