Mühle-Glashütte goes back to Robert Mühle, who began making precision measuring instruments for the local watch industry in Glashütte in 1869. Nautical instruments such as ship’s clocks and marine chronometers followed later. Since 1994 the family company has also been building wristwatches – robust, highly legible timepieces rooted in the tradition of instrument making.

      The Mühle-Glashütte lines at a glance

      The Teutonia II and the Teutonia IV form the classic side of the brand – understated watches with small seconds, moon phase, day/date or chronograph. The Teutonia Sport and the Lunova combine this design language with sportier cases. The instrument watches include the 29er and the Sportivo, the S.A.R. line for sea rescue, the Sea-Timer diving watches, the Seebataillon GMT and the Terrasport.

      The movements

      Mühle-Glashütte relies on automatic movements that are refined in Glashütte with in-house components, above all the company’s own woodpecker-neck regulation, which makes the fine adjustment of the rate more stable. Depending on the model, the watches offer a power reserve of 41 to 62 hours.
