Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi

Collectors call the GMT-Master II from Rolex with a red and blue bezel the Pepsi. The two colours separate day and night hours on the 24-hour scale, which you use to read a second time zone. The current reference 126710BLRO measures 40 mm and is made of Oystersteel. New watches are unworn and come with box, papers and the international Rolex warranty, while inspected Certified Pre-Owned models are labelled as such. Shipping is fully insured and the delivery time is shown on every watch.

From Pan Am pilot to Pepsi

Rolex developed the GMT-Master in the 1950s for pilots on long-haul flights, and the first reference 6542 already had a red and blue bezel. The colour combination reminded collectors of the drinks maker's logo, which led to the nickname Pepsi. Rolex itself does not use it.

Cerachrom bezel and calibre 3285

Since 2014 Rolex has made the red and blue bezel in Cerachrom ceramic, first for the 126719BLRO in white gold and since 2018 also for the steel version 126710BLRO. Inside works calibre 3285 with Chronergy escapement and around 70 hours of power reserve. You set the hour hand independently of the minutes, so local time can be adjusted quickly when travelling.

Jubilee or Oyster bracelet

The Pepsi is available on the five-piece Jubilee bracelet and, since 2021, on the three-piece Oyster bracelet. The Jubilee looks finer, the Oyster sportier. You will find the GMT-Master II with a black and blue bezel under Rolex Batman.
