What second hand means at HORANDO
Second hand means that a watch has already been worn. At HORANDO these watches are inspected by our partner watchmakers and labelled as Certified Pre-Owned. Scratches, signs of wear and the scope of delivery are described so that you know what you will receive before you buy. Some watches were last serviced by Rolex, and this is then stated directly in the description.
Models and references
The selection changes constantly because every second-hand Rolex is a one-off. You will often find the Submariner, the Cosmograph Daytona and the GMT-Master II here, alongside classic models such as the Datejust, Day-Date and Oyster Perpetual. There are also lines such as the Sea-Dweller, Yacht-Master, Sky-Dweller or Air-King and occasionally references that are no longer in the current Rolex catalogue.
What to look for when buying
The first thing that matters is the scope of delivery: A full set with box, warranty card and papers makes a watch's origin traceable. Also pay attention to the condition of the case, bezel and bracelet and to the service history. The international Rolex warranty runs for five years from the purchase date on the warranty card, so that date tells you whether any of it remains. If you have questions about a particular watch, our customer service is available from 8 am to 6 pm.
