What the inspection covers

Before a watch is added to our inventory, we check the case, movement and bracelet for originality. Among other things, we verify that the reference and serial numbers match, that the dial, hands and bezel are original and whether any non-factory modifications are present. This is followed by a rate measurement in several positions and a water resistance test.

Why pre-owned Rolex watches are in demand

For several Rolex references, demand has exceeded what authorised dealers can supply for years. The secondary market is therefore often the only way to obtain a specific model without a waiting period. Added to this is the availability of discontinued references: Anyone looking for a particular dial variant or a size no longer in production will only find it pre-owned.

Condition and scope of delivery

For every watch, we state its condition, year of manufacture and scope of delivery. Whether the original box and papers are included has a noticeable effect on the price and is relevant for any future resale. If you have questions about a specific watch, we will be happy to describe its condition to you in detail.

Service and warranty

Every Certified Pre-Owned watch comes with a one-year warranty from HORANDO. If required, we will discuss with you before your purchase when the last service was carried out and which service interval makes sense for the respective calibre.
