Oldest watch manufacture in the world

Founded in 1755, the Vacheron Constantin watch manufactory is one of the oldest continuously operating manufactories in the world. The Swiss watch manufacturer is based in Geneva. In 2005, Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 250th anniversary. The company employs around 400 people and is represented in around 80 countries. "Always do better if possible - and that is always possible," are the legendary words of François Constantin, which have become the motto of this special watch manufacturer. And this motto is put into practice by Vacheron Constantin. Because the manufacture is known for the creation of particularly complex clockworks, which consist of numerous complications and hundreds of individual parts. Dials are decorated partly noble with enamel work. Watches from Vacheron Constantin are definitely more than simple timekeepers. They are more works of art, the result of over 250 years of experience in the art of watchmaking.
