Founded in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest watch manufactories in the world to operate continuously. The Swiss watch manufacturer is based in Geneva. Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2005. The company employs around 400 people and is represented in around 80 countries. Making it better whenever possible - and that's always possible", said François Constantin's legendary words, which have become the watchmaker's motto. And Vacheron Constantin is putting this motto into practice. The Manufacture is renowned for creating particularly complex movements, made up of numerous complications and hundreds of individual parts. Some of the dials are decorated nobly with enamel.
