Senna and Tag Heuer: A successful symbiosis
Today we would like to remember a very special person:

Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Ayrton Senna died on May 1, 1994. He was just 34 years old when he suffered a tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix. Senna crashed at the Tamburello corner at the Imola circuit. Many people still remember this event and look back on that day with sadness. Nevertheless, Senna left behind many positive memories, and his deeds remain unforgettable to this day.
Ayrton Senna would have turned 61 on March 21st. In honor of this day, we would like to remember a very special person who achieved so much throughout his life and beyond. He brought a great deal of positivity to this world by being one of the people who cared for unemployed organizations and children's hospitals. His vision of a better Brazil remains in people's minds to this day, and he made significant contributions to making the world a better place. The collaboration with Tag Heuer during his lifetime has continued to this day. The name Senna is probably one of the few names that truly typifies determination and efficiency in one person. He became known back then for his successes in Grand Prix racing, and over time he was able to achieve a true luminary status there. This man was therefore not only distinguished by his determination and confident demeanor, but he also captivated audiences with his exceptional character traits and charismatic qualities. In honor of his birthday, we present the Senna and Tag Heuer collection.
The special edition, available as either a 44 mm automatic or 43 mm quartz model, impresses with its exquisite details and exquisite appearance, leaving a distinctive impression on the viewer that continues to do justice to the Senna name even years later. The collaboration between Senna and Tag Heuer developed, then as it does today, into an undisputed masterpiece of international watchmaking history. The symbiosis of these two leaders in their respective fields clearly demonstrates how magnificently such precise and innovative timepieces sit on the wearer's wrist and how strikingly skilled the attention to detail is. In this context, the qualities of these new special editions are distinguished above all by their lovingly selected compositions and eye-catching, yet carefully selected components.

The electronic Tag Heuer and Senna special edition with quartz
The masculine case and the finely brushed stainless steel strap ensure an extravagant and sophisticated appearance. The evenly screwed crown was also installed with such care and precision that even the most discerning expert will pay close attention to this work of art. Also not to be overlooked is the striking and brilliant display window, distinguished by its luminous yellow accents.
At the same time, it lends the piece a stylish character and presents the delicate details of this watch in a completely new light. Other attributes also contribute to a stylish overall appearance and are indicative of these synergies. The fixed, black ceramic bezel with Senna lettering and a tachymeter scale draws the viewer's attention to the unmistakable features of this masterpiece.
Also striking about these masterpieces is the precisely positioned dial and the unmistakable, brand-typical engraving on the caseback. But the Senner/Tag Heuer collaboration isn't the only thing that wins the race when it comes to the dial and case. The watch's ability to withstand dives to depths of up to 200 meters also proves extremely useful. In this sense, this is a clearly evident and competitive diver's watch, although the sporty characteristics of this masterpiece originally found their place in motorsports. Well deserved, as we rightly call it a multiple champion. The second Senna special edition continues to impress with its proven automatic movement and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This even captivates passionate experts, as this edition boasts an additional 42 hours of power reserve.
Wearers of these first-class chronometers will be captivated by the original and inventive additions, as well as by the innovative subdial. While the Tricompax layout of this watch remains unchanged in the special edition, there is now a 12-hour scale at six, a small seconds at nine, and a 30-minute scale at 12 o'clock. Ultimately, it's the details that count, and this watch scores points for both dynamism and elegance.
The automatic movement also proves to be a reliable alternative to the digital version. With its carefully selected, millimeter-precisely placed screws and finely tuned mechanics, the watch impresses even connoisseurs of movement. The meticulously crafted inner workings are brimming with precision, constantly working to display the time precisely and accurately. Whether it's the finish line on the racetrack or the next second on the display, these two masters always steer towards it punctually and accurately.
Freedom and self-determination
This is truly a lifestyle that wearers of Tag Heuer and Senna watches can't miss. The collection was exclusively inspired by motorsport and therefore has a number of features that are both well-designed and eminent.
Time is a precious commodity, both in real life and in racing. Therefore, the watch features a metal bracelet with a driver's extension, allowing the watch to be worn over the sleeve even when wearing a racing suit. The integrated extension equips the wearer for all possible situations, ensuring that goals can always be reached to the second.
Quality and level
True champions had to undergo numerous tests before they could be proven to be the leaders in their class. It takes more than just life's work to go down in history as a master of one's craft. Therefore, Tag Heuer timepieces also undergo more than 60 quality tests to ensure top-notch performance.
