The Alpina Alpiner automatic chronograph is characterized by an elegant and extremely high-performance 44 millimeter case. The timepiece also features a combination of a brushed stainless steel bezel that can be rotated 360 degrees and has a black PDV coating, as well as a sunray dial with applied luminous indexes. This gives the chronograph excellent readability, distinctive personality and aesthetics that have always been associated with Alpina's luxury watches. The Alpina Alpiner watch model impresses with its performance and robustness both inside and out. The Alpina Alpiner case is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The Alpiner case has a soft iron core, the base material of which has a lower carbon content. The iron core serves to protect the chronograph movement from magnetic fields. The Alpina Alpiner model is normally available with a black or silver dial. You can wear the Alpina with an alligator leather or stainless steel strap.

When it comes to shock resistance, Alpina's luxury watches meet all the requirements of ISO standard 1413, including certification. As further support for outdoor activities in alpine environments, the Alpina Alpiner watch model has a compass bezel that can be rotated 360 degrees. The latter is complemented by a 24-hour scale that you can find on the outer ring of the dial. With these two functions, you can use the compass quickly and easily.
