Decentralized design with a distinctive look
A characteristic feature of the PanoMatic is its asymmetrical dial: the hours and minutes are offset to the left, while the small seconds and Panorama Date are harmoniously positioned on the right. This layout not only gives the watch a striking appearance but also follows a functional principle: optimal legibility combined with a clear structure.
Depending on the model, a simple silver-colored dial or a modern version in blue or anthracite with a sunburst finish is used. The bezel is slim, the case is classically round, with a slightly domed sapphire crystal. The hands and indices are finely crafted, and the proportions are harmonious. The back offers a view of the artfully decorated movement through a window – typical Glashütte.
Automatic movement with attention to detail
Inside is the in-house caliber 90-02 – an automatic movement with a Panorama Date and off-center time display. It offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, a rotor with a skeletonized double-G logo, and a classic Glashütte finish with a three-quarter plate, swan-neck fine adjustment, and striation.
The craftsmanship is of the highest standard: blued screws, beveled edges, and exquisite engravings. The rotor axis is mounted on ball bearings, and the movement runs extremely reliably. The automatic winding unit ensures the watch is constantly powered even with regular wear—ideal for everyday wear.
Variants with stylish variety
The PanoMatic is available in various versions – including models with stainless steel cases, rose gold, and limited special editions. Dial colors such as silver, graphite gray, or deep blue allow for a variety of styles – from sober to expressive. Each version is complemented by high-quality alligator leather straps or a link bracelet with polished and satin-finished elements.
Whether as an elegant office clock or as an expression of individual watchmaking culture – the Glashütte Original PanoMatic offers mechanical substance in a form that stands out without being loud.
