The Longines Master is characterized by an understated yet richly refined appearance. It features dials with fine guilloché work, applied Roman or Arabic numerals, and classic leaf-shaped hands. The style is traditional yet modern enough for everyday wear. Case sizes range from 38 to 42 millimeters, making it equally wearable for men and women.

The collection also remains understated in its case shape: a gently rounded profile, a slim bezel, and a slightly domed sapphire crystal define the look. Depending on the model, the dial is available in silver, blue, or black. The design is complemented by finely structured details, such as a railway minute track or moon phase window, which are featured in higher-end versions.

The strap options range from classic leather straps with embossed details and folding clasps to stainless steel bracelets with a satin-polished finish – comfortable, durable and harmonious in the overall look.

Reliable automatic movements inside

For the Master collection, Longines relies on automatic movements from the Swatch Group, including calibers such as the L888 and L899, developed on an ETA basis and reworked exclusively for Longines. These calibers offer a power reserve of up to 72 hours, high rate stability, and in many cases additional functions such as moon phase, chronograph, or full calendar displays.

The movements are visible through sapphire crystal cases and are finely decorated with blued screws, Côtes de Genève, and an engraved rotor. Winding is achieved by movement or manually via the crown—both efficient and comfortable to use. The Master Collection is aimed at wearers who value mechanical design but do not want to compromise on everyday practicality.

Many models are also COSC-certified, guaranteeing the highest precision. The 30-meter water resistance provides reliable protection for everyday wear without sacrificing comfort or a slim design.
