The Oris Big Crown dates back to a pilot's watch from 1938. The large, fluted crown could be operated even with gloves on – hence the name the line still bears today. Many models feature the pointer date: a dedicated hand points to the date on the edge of the dial. Depending on the model, the cases measure 34 to 43 millimetres, in stainless steel or bronze.

      Pointer Date and in-house calibres

      The Big Crown Pointer Date is the core model of the line. Alongside the versions with an automatic movement, the Pointer Date is available with the in-house Oris Calibre 403 and 120 hours of power reserve, and with the hand-wound Oris Calibre 473, also with five days of power reserve.

      Bronze, special models and editions

      Over time, the bronze models develop an individual patina. There are also special models and limited editions, for example marking anniversaries of the line or created with partners. All watches at HORANDO are new and delivered with original box and original documents.
