      At Rolex, rose gold is called Everose

      What other watchmakers call rose gold has been sold by Rolex under its own name, Everose, since 2005. A small proportion of platinum is added to the alloy, preventing the copper from fading over time and the hue from turning pale. An Everose watch still looks as it did on the first day after ten years.

      Warm but understated

      The shade sits between yellow gold and copper and looks particularly harmonious on lighter skin. Solid gold models are available as well as Everose Rolesor, which combines Oystersteel and Everose – a variant that considerably reduces the proportion of gold.
