Insights into the technology

Some Zenith Chronomaster models have a solid dial with three additional dials or two dials and a window for viewing the movement. Others do without a dial, with the exception of an outer ring with the time scale, and leave the technical inner workings of the watch completely unobstructed. This offers the tech-loving man a wonderful insight into the processes inside his watch, but can initially distract from the displays on the smaller dials. This is helped by the fact that in most models each dial has its own color, which is different from the main dial or ring. What exactly the additional dials display varies depending on the sub-series of the Zenith Chronomaster, but is worth seeing in all cases.

Master of Time

The name Chronomaster is made up of the name of the Greek god Chronos and the English word Master. Chronos, the creator god of Greek mythology, was considered the personification of time. Master means master, and so the Chronomaster, with its many hands, stopwatch function and the frequent insight into the movement, is the master of time. A truly aptly chosen name for this masterpiece of Swiss watchmaking.
