The company's success story began in 1875, when Jules-Louis Audemars began to develop his own watches after training as a repasseur. In December 1881 he founded the company Audemars Piguet with his friend and repairer Edward-Auguste Piguet. Initially they specialized in the production of pocket watches and soon expanded their repertoire to include wristwatches. In 1891 they introduced the first wristwatch with minute repeater. As they were able to quickly raise their profile, it did not take long before the first branches outside Switzerland were opened. Today Audemars Piguet develops and produces coveted luxury watches that are highly regarded by connoisseurs.

From the Royal Oak to the Royal Oak Offshore

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is one of the company's successful models. When the Royal Oak was introduced in 1972, critics could not imagine how successful this model could be. But Audemars Piguet taught her otherwise. With the Royal Oak steel watch, they wrote an extraordinary success story. Some twenty years later, the reinterpretation Royal Oak Offshore was launched. This brand was also underestimated at the beginning. Today, Royal Oak and Royal Offshore are inseparably linked to the traditional company. Over the years, Audemars Piguet's Royal-Oak Offshore collection has varied and differed from its predecessors. However, the trademark is the large housing with the eight rounded corners (e.g. reference 26170ST.OO.1000ST.08).The newer models show strong colour contrasts. Especially the rose gold version stands out here (e.g. reference 26401RO.OO.A002CA.01). However, one thing has remained: the striking dial of the Royal Oak Offshore. The dials of the new Royal Oak Offshore version are also decorated with the unmistakable waffle pattern. Luminova luminous colour is used to ensure optimum reading of time and date. In addition to the striking case of the watch, the bezel has also remained unchanged. It still features eight hexagonal screws made of polished stainless steel. Despite all the innovations, it is the traditional values that remain at Audemars Piguet. In addition to the popular men's collections, the company also produces luxury watches for women. One of the coveted models is the Royal Oak Quartz.

Royal Oak Offshore Diver - the success story continues

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Offshore Diver has been on the market for more than 20 years. With the Forged Carbon, the company has now launched a new model that gives the angular diving watch even more emphasis. At first glance, the massive 42-millimeter diameter case is reminiscent of black marble. Also many other parts of the model show up in strong black and give the Royal Oak Offshore Diver a very special effect. The dial and bracelet are also in black. The hands and indices, which are available in white and yellow, ensure good legibility. Thanks to the luminescent coating, the displays glow in the dark and under water, so that readability is guaranteed at all times. With the automatic calibre Calibre 3120, a power reserve of 60 hours and a water resistance of up to 300 metres, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Forged Carbon from Audemars Piguet is a reliable companion in all situations (e.g. reference 15703ST.OO.A002CA.01).
