The housing

With sizes between 40 and 43 mm in diameter, the watches are easy to read. Made in silver and rose gold, they make different statements without appearing obtrusive or kitschy. The simple silver-colored case is more suitable for work, whereas the elegance of the rose gold is perfect for evening events such as the opera. The exclusivity is underlined by the limited editions of individual models. The top model is the Tourbillon, which has an 18-carat gold-plated bezel on a stainless steel case and is limited to 188 pieces. The case is rounded off by a transparent base that allows a view of the heart of the watch.

The work

Entirely developed and manufactured in the watch workshop in Geneva, the Manufacture's watches and movements are a symbol of first-class craftsmanship. The special automatic movements with power reserves of between 38 and 48 hours offer precision and perfection at the same time. In addition to the regular movement, some movements also drive a perpetual calendar, which is otherwise only found in the highest price categories. With these movements, a simple movement is sufficient to drive them. With good care and regular use, the movements last almost forever and no longer require the annoying changing of batteries. The designs are completed by built-in moon phases.

The dial

The biggest differences are also available in the dials. In addition to a world map as a background (Worldtimer) or Chinese characters (Zodiac), classic dials (in a variety of colors from navy blue to brown) are also available. Sterile lines, Roman or Arabic numerals underline the different styles of the dials. They are rounded off by hand-made, blue, gold or silver hands. Here, too, there are differences between classic openwork and modern, simple, giving each watch its own unique design. A permanently good look is guaranteed by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Convex in shape, it withstands most adversities and stays beautiful for a long time.

The band

Robust leather or stainless steel straps round off the concept of each watch. The high-quality products of the Frederique Constant brand can also be found in this detail, as the leather straps are made of either calf or crocodile leather. This makes them particularly supple and long-lasting. The multi-link stainless steel strap is delivered with a high gloss polish and is very comfortable to wear.

The brand

Frederique Constant combines classic elements with technical innovations. The premium Manufacture collection impresses with elaborate guilloché work, fine details and carefully selected materials. This combination creates a unique range aimed at lovers of luxury watches. With some limited numbers, the models also appeal to collectors and offer a stable investment over the years.
