The rotor of the Master Control Date is made of 22-carat gold and the movement is very elaborately constructed. Like the Cricket model, the Memovox also has separate spring barrels. While the Cricket model has one crown, and the clock and alarm are wound in different directions, the Memovox model is set in motion with two separate crowns. Today, all Memovox models are automatic and are available in stainless steel and rose gold, each with a light or black dial.
