The Master Ultra Thin series is characterized by a timeless design language. The dial is reduced to the bare essentials: narrow indices, slim dauphine hands, and, in many models, a simple three-hand display with a date or no complication at all. The design always remains balanced – every line, every spacing is precisely coordinated.
Depending on the model, the case measures between 38 and 41 millimeters, is extremely slim, and slightly domed. Crafted from stainless steel or 18-karat rose gold, it sits smoothly on the wrist and easily disappears under any cuff. The case height varies – depending on the movement and complication – usually between 7 and 9 millimeters. This makes the watch the ideal companion for business, formal occasions, or simply for people who appreciate a clear design language.
Dials are presented in subtle silver, ivory, or midnight blue—often with a sunburst or velvet finish. Applied indices are a key feature on many models, as is the consistent avoidance of visual distractions. This line doesn't follow trends—instead, it redefines classic watch design.
Mechanics with depth – even in flat form
Inside the Master Ultra Thin, depending on the model, is an in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber such as the 896/1, 899, or 925. These automatic movements are among the thinnest of their kind, yet feature high power reserves, modern escapement systems, and the finest finishing. The calibers run precisely and efficiently, offering between 38 and 70 hours of power reserve, depending on the version.
Especially in the more elaborate versions, a sapphire crystal caseback is installed, allowing the movement to be viewed in all its craftsmanship. Typical elements such as Geneva stripes, blued screws, and skeletonized rotors are just as much a part of the equipment as a precision-made precision adjustment mechanism.
Despite the slim design, no compromises are made in terms of robustness and everyday usability. The calibers are internally regulated and undergo our in-house "1000 Hours Control" – a comprehensive quality test that guarantees reliability and accuracy in real-world use.
Variants with classic expression
The Master Ultra Thin is available in various versions – from the simple three-hand model to versions with a small seconds dial, date display, or moon phase, all the way to the Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar. Depending on the model, a classic alligator leather strap is used, usually with a pin buckle or folding clasp, matching the respective case material.
The color palette remains understated and stylish – black, dark blue, gray, silver, or rose – always clear, never obtrusive. This makes the Master Ultra Thin the perfect choice for purists, aesthetes, and anyone seeking style, substance, and restraint in a mechanical watch.
