The dial is uncluttered and clearly structured: The centerpiece is the simple hour and minute hands, complemented by a small central seconds hand and the date and moon phase window at 6 o'clock. The moon phase display is particularly finely crafted, with a silver or gold moon on a deep blue background – a visual homage to classic watchmaking.
The dial itself is silver, midnight blue, or black, depending on the model—often with a subtle sunburst finish, applied indices, and faceted hands. The case measures a slim 39 mm in diameter and remains pleasantly flat at approximately 9 mm in height. Crafted from stainless steel or rose gold, it combines polished and satin-finished surfaces to create a harmonious whole. The Master Ultra Thin Moon is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 925, a thin automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It operates quietly, efficiently, and with high rate stability. The moon phase display is precisely calibrated and only requires adjustment after approximately 122 years—a testament to the care with which Jaeger-LeCoultre designs its movements.
The watch features a transparent sapphire crystal caseback, revealing the movement with its Geneva stripes, blued screws, and skeletonized rotor. Despite its slim profile, the watch offers a high level of durability for everyday use – not least thanks to the 1,000-hour internal testing that every Jaeger-LeCoultre undergoes before delivery.
The complications are operated intuitively via an additional pusher for the moon phase. The finely knurled crown makes winding comfortable and direct—ideal for wearers who value mechanical sensitivity.
