Automatic caliber with high power reserve
Behind the 43 millimetre long case is the automatic calibre ETA2671 with central second hand, which drives the three-hand watch. This automatic movement has a power reserve of 38 hours.
Black numerals on silver dial
The dial is silver with black Arabic numerals and is protected by a sturdy sapphire crystal. Sapphire crystal was also used on the back of the watch. This allows a view into the fascinating inner life of the watch. Watches of the Baume & Mercier Hampton collection are water resistant up to 5 bar.
Swiss watch brand with tradition
Baume & Mercier is a watch manufactory founded in Switzerland. The foundation dates back to the year 1830. At that time, the brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume founded the company under the name "Frères Baume" in Les Bois, Switzerland. As business was going well and this enabled the company to expand internationally, another branch was established in London, which was followed by further branch openings. The international reputation was already excellent then. Baume & Mercier watches set records for accuracy and caused a sensation with their precision. In the 1920s, the company campaigned for the emancipation of women. Twenty years later, the Manufacture produced a series of watch collections for women. These included the famous "Marquise“.
Diverse collections for women and men
Today, models for women and men are produced from different collections, such as Hampton or Classima. In 2015, sporty wristwatches were also included in production.
