High-tech for the deep sea
The diving watches of the Fifty Fathoms series made the Swiss watch manufacturer Blancpain world famous. The first dive of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe took place in the late 1950s. The scientist and deep-sea pioneer Auguste Piccard plunged into unknown depths with a Bathyscaphe Trieste in his submarine. Today's models of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe series combine sporty luxury with technical top performance. They convince through elegance, robustness, top technology, high wearing comfort and adherence to uncompromisingly high quality standards.
Watch technology at the highest level
The housings of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe series are optionally made of ceramic, stainless steel or super light titanium. With a ceramic case, a thread is of course not possible and these watches therefore have a pressure back. All case variants are waterproof up to 30 bar. The watches are equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and are driven by a superlative caliber. The handmade, highly precise and reliable automatic movements also offer an impressive power reserve of five days. The fascinating functionality and elegance of Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe collection is clearly marked by 300 years of experience of the Le Brassus watch manufactory.
