Frederique Constant Vintage Rally
Among car enthusiasts, Austin Healey is considered the epitome of British roadster culture. With robust interiors and elegant bodies, various Healey models drove straight into the hearts of a horsepower-loving crowd in the 1950s and 1960s and have retained their place among them right up to the new millennium. Many proud Healey owners continue to revive the brand's racing tradition at classic car meetings and vintage car rallies. This passion is shared by Peter Constant Stas, managing director of Frédérique Constant and descendant of company co-founder Constant Stas. He not only mingles with the participants of the events - thanks to him, Frédérique Constant has also become the official timekeeper of Healey events all over the world. The Frédérique Constant Vintage Rally Healey watch models, the centerpiece of the Vintage Rally collection, honor this partnership with a special limited edition symbol of solidarity.

2888 times the classic elegance
The Frederique Constant Vintage Rally Healey models show up as a 24-hour GMT variant with date and as a chronograph with bicompax totalizers without date. Both are powered by a fully automatic FC-300 series caliber. The FC-350 caliber of the Vintage Rally Healey GMT comes with a power reserve of 38 hours, while the FC-397 caliber even reaches 46 hours of power reserve. In terms of case size, the chronograph also sets itself apart somewhat from the 40-millimeter diameter of the GMT watch, measuring 42 millimeters. With a height of 14.45 millimeters, it also towers over the Vintage Rally Healey GMT by two millimeters - in return, it has been given a transparent case back. The dial shows at first glance to whom this classically elegant and timelessly designed duo pays tribute, as the logo of the English roadster forge Austin Healey is emblazoned there in the six o'clock position on each watch. Like other models in the Vintage Rally series, Healey-GMT and Healey-Chronograph are limited again, but Frédérique Constant is less strict this time. Instead of only 1,888 pieces as usual, Vintage Rally Healey GMT and Chronograph are issued 2,888 times in each version.
Stainless steel, a little gold and leather in racing look
As classic as the lines in the design of the Vintage Rally Healey models is also Frédérique Constant's choice of materials. All cases are made of stainless steel and, in the case of two GMT models and one Healey chronograph, are also gold-plated. In this way, this limited edition once again achieves the typical Frédérique Constant combination of luxury paired with excellent precision and understatement at an attractive price level. With indices on the dials, the minimalist design persists down to the last detail. The leather straps, in brown or black depending on the model version, on the other hand, exude almost flamboyance. Along their entire length, they feature striking perforations in a racing look. With this fine detail, they perfectly match the punched holes of the traditional driver's gloves, should the wearer of a Frédérique Constant Vintage Rally Healey actually set off for a drive in a breezy oldie. The GMT and chronograph are both water-resistant and can withstand a water pressure of five atmospheres each.
