American Classic
The name American Classic can be translated as the American classic, but also the classic American. This is of course a reference to the traditionally elegant basic theme of the Hamilton American Classic collection. But especially in Europe it also conveys a feeling of the big world and big business. It makes us think of the hustle and bustle in New York or the vastness of the American continent. In connection with the diversity of the watch collection, it reminds us above all of the multicultural past of the melting pot of nations. For a long time, America's culture was shaped by the diversity of the immigrants from all over the world from whom this nation emerged. Accordingly, the classic American watch has to meet a variety of people and expectations.
Tradition from USA
The name American Classic is also not a pure mood enhancer. The Hamilton watches actually come from the United States, where the watch manufacturer can look back on over 125 years of tradition. As early as 1874, the Adams & Perry Watch Company was founded in Pennsylvania, which was to become the Hamilton Watch Company in 1892. This name also reminds of a multicultural tradition. The Hamilton clan is a Scottish aristocratic house, with presumably English origins and an Irish collateral line - and also a diverse tradition in America.
