A. Lange & Söhne 1815
The name of this luxury watch stands for the birth year of the founder Ferdinand A. Lange. The traditional watch manufactory in Glashütte sets new standards with its mechanical movements. The master model of the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 is based on the classic design elements "Chemin de fer" minuterie, Arabic numerals and blued hands. The movement also features traditional components (hand-engraved balance cocks, screwed gold chatons, blued screws and a three-quarter plate made of natural nickel silver).
Various variants of the A. Lange & Söhne 18155
The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 model is available in two different versions: 1815 and 1815 up/down. The watch case is available in white gold, red gold and platinum. The dial is equipped with symmetrically arranged auxiliary dials, a circumferential minute dial and an advanced mechanism. The timeless, elegant look of this luxury watch is complemented by a genuine leather strap.
The manufacturer offers four model variants of the 1815 Chronograph. In the case an L951.5 Unhrwerk drives the timepiece. It extends the mechanism of the precise minute hand by a flyback function. This function allows the owner to immediately reset the hands to "zero" at the touch of a button while the time is being measured. When the button is released, a new stop will start automatically. The dial, also available in different colours, is characterised by a functional, clear design. The classic character is accentuated by the typical railway minute dial with additional divisions and auxiliary dials slightly offset downwards. The outer ring of the dial is equipped with a pulsometer scale for pulse measurement.
