About Rolex
Rolex was founded in London in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and has been based in Geneva since 1919. Few brands have shaped the modern wristwatch as much: 1926 brought the Oyster, the first waterproof wristwatch case, 1931 the Perpetual rotor for automatic winding and 1945 the Datejust, the first self-winding chronometer wristwatch with the date in a window. Many of today's models trace directly back to these inventions.
Its defining trait is continuity. Rolex refines the Submariner, GMT-Master II, Daytona and Datejust carefully over decades rather than reinventing them. Movements, cases, bracelets and even the gold alloys are made in its own workshops. Every watch undergoes in-house testing as a Superlative Chronometer. This makes Rolex the brand for anyone looking for a watch to last many years – for everyday wear as much as for special occasions.

Are the Rolex watches at HORANDO new and original?
Yes. Every new Rolex at HORANDO is new and unworn and comes with box, papers and the international Rolex guarantee. The warranty runs for five years from the date on the warranty card. Before shipping, we look at each watch again and compare the reference and serial number.
Do I have to wait for a Rolex at HORANDO?
Not on many models. Concessionaries often have long waiting lists for popular references such as the Submariner, GMT-Master II or Daytona. Can I buy a used Rolex from HORANDO?
Yes. In addition to new watches, you can find them here Certified Pre-Owned Rolex, i.e. used watches that have been checked by our partner watchmakers. We give a one-year warranty on used watches.

Can I pay for a Rolex in installments?
Yes. Payment in installments of up to 5,000 euros is possible via PayPal, and up to 10,000 euros via Klarna. For higher amounts we would be happy to advise you personally. Purchasing on account is not possible.
