The NOMOS Glashütte Zürich consists of a stainless steel case with a three-piece steel back. The dial has been galvanized and silvered white. The indices are applied and rhodium plated. Also rhodium-plated are the faceted hands. The top finish is domed sapphire crystal, which is distinguished by a special scratch resistance. The watch has a diameter of 39.8 mm and a height of 9.6 mm. In addition, there is a water resistance of 3 ATM which means that the watch is protected from splashing water.
